Chapter 36. Life in Chaos

Peter POV

I was stunned in the kitchen threshold. There was a pungent smell that made the air smell rotten. A combination of spoiled milk, rotten food, and a nauseating damp smell.

I held back the nausea that was churning in my stomach. The sight I saw really shook me.

On the dining table, kitchen counter, sink and even on the stove, there were piles of dirty utensils. Several flies were flying around above all the mess.

What the hell is this?

In my entire life, I have never seen anything more messy than this. I am a perfectionist. I always want my surroundings or anything related to me to be neat, tidy, and clean. I can’t stand careless people and dirty things. I also don’t like people who are not punctual and things that are unattractive.
