Chapter 126. The Power of Feelings
The men left and Giovanna stared pensively into nothingness. It was so obvious that she was the woman who had gone to the palace to see the king's death that she felt lost. She wanted to know all the stories in which she had lived, but she didn't know where to find them.
Andrew arrived and invited her for a speedboat ride. Giovanna thought it was a first. She had never been to the sea before, and was eager to go.
She felt the sea breeze on her face as Andrew switched off the engine, handed her a beer and leaned against her side.
"I like coming here to think..." He said, looking up at the sky. The full moon seemed so close that Giovanna imagined herself reaching out and touching it.
"What do you think about when you come here?"
"Everything. I was very lonely before I came to this island."
"You don't seem to have many friends here."
"Why do you say that?"
