When Giovanna calmed down, she pulled away. She closed her eyes and Luc stared at her without understanding what she was doing, as she seemed to be concentrating.

"I've told you all this and it hasn't helped you to reveal your feelings to me. Something's wrong." She said, opening her eyes suspiciously and then closing them again until a victorious smile appeared on her lips. Luc watched her curiously.

"I saw her. What is it about her that attracts you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"There's a virgin werewolf near here. That's what you wanted to show me. Not your children?"

Luc stared at her and then looked away.

"They could be mine, they could be Theo's..."
