Chapter 59. After Lunch

"Let's have lunch, Caio." Luc said after checking the time on his watch.

"Ah! Yes. That's why I'm here. I came to tell you that lunch is ready."

Luc held out his hand to Giovanna, but she stared at Caio.

"Luc... You can go ahead. I need to talk to Caio about something."

Luc didn't like it when he realized that Caio was silent. He really wanted to be alone with his mother.

Giovanna glanced sideways at Luc with an amused look on her face and remained silent, watching Luc's face turn red in front of Caio.

"We were actually ordering... I'll explain to you how it happens later... Soon. In ten years or so..." Luc said, not wanting to leave his son alone with Giovanna. He loved her, but he still didn't have the confidence.

"Is that what you do while I'm at school?" Caio asked with the naivety of children his age.
