Chapter 74. One Second

Giovanna didn't know how to cook lamb, and for a moment she stood in the huge kitchen not knowing where to start. She opened the freezer and took out the package with the pieces of lamb. The package contained all the information she needed to prepare it. She did it quickly and then prepared the potatoes and put them in the oven. She picked up the mop and bucket and went to clean the dining room. When everything was ready, she went to Theo's room. There was an office in the palace, right there on that floor, but he preferred to use the computer in his room. She knocked on the door and it opened by itself. She saw him concentrating on the computer screen, and she scratched her throat, making the necessary noise to make him aware of her presence.
