Mehoffer looked at the place he himself had created to imprison Giovanna.

“What have you done?” Curiosity was greater than indignation.

Giovanna began to run her hand along the mirrors as she walked around the rectangular room.

“Do you think you're clever? Did you think it was clever to let Luna in on your secret? Do you think it was smart to let her know how you were trapped, along with the other Legendaries, in a cave with Lilith when you got here? Haven't you realized that Luna has a natural talent for finding out how things happened? That I know how to turn the little details that make you strong, into your weakness, so that it comes back to you as a nightmare?”

“You remember that story...” He said and stared at the ceiling. “You don't have the magic to repeat that spell. Maybe one day you will, but... Not yet.”

“Ah! But I don't need that spell. I didn't need to lock up all the Legendaries, I just needed to lock you up.”
