Giovanna thought for a moment about whether she should answer and decided that she should.

"Advise him not to come to me if he's complaining that he feels used."

"You're his wife. You must love him and show it. He needs to stay with you. He needs to produce heirs."

"Not with me."

"He doesn't want another wife."

"Then he won't have children."

"How can you be so sure that you're not already producing a child?"

Giovanna stared at her coldly.

"It doesn't matter. Go away."

"I won't go until I'm pregnant."

"Then you'll watch me and your brother grow old and die."

"That's not going to happen."

"What won't happen?"

"You won't get old and you won't know death."
