Chapter 88. Graduation
Giovanna enrolled in medical school with what little money she had left, having sold all the jewelry she had taken to wear at the fateful wedding, and discovered that she had a small fortune. Even so, she got a job as a secretary in a doctor's surgery and six months later, she started an internship at a famous hospital near the college, because one of her professors, impressed by her natural gift and the speed with which she learned and absorbed knowledge, recommended her and it soon became clear to them how competent she was.
Giovanna was at the graduation party, where other doctors and hospital owners were eager to choose the best candidates for their teams and circulated among the new doctors in search of information, experience and innovative talents.
