Two weeks had gone by, agonisingly slow. There was no word from my father and the rest of the alphas about anything unusual. The alpha kings had not uncovered anything surrounding the killings of Deborah and the other she-wolf. I had managed to avoid Elias, despite Nyra's and Maribel's endless attempts.
