Chapter 12. Declined
Denny felt like he would miss her so much if he didn't see her in a day. But he will have no choice. The chance of making it to see her even to spend just an hour or less is too thin to be considered.
The meeting will be held where he will have to take a car ride for forty-five minutes at full speed, but it may take an hour or more if traffic gets in his way. And the meeting's length of time will depend on how they all will agree to every detail presented and decided. In his experience, with his meticulous and perfectionist personality, their meetings had always been painstakingly long.
"Urgh!" Denny groaned.
Trisha was a bit startled at the sudden sound he made. The worried Denny could not help but laugh at her being jumpy.
"Sorry, I was just thinking how I can make it to see you tomorrow," he apologized and fed her a grape.
