Chapter 136. His Mom

Trisha took this suggestion to be more agreeable. Considering her safety and securing her contract with Mister Vero was her priority right now. She did not want to meet with any problem that would compromise her contract with him and be back to square one with her mom's hospital bills.

"Is it possible? I might be bothering you at work if I tag along," Trisha was hopeful he would not change his mind but she still had to ask for sure.

"Not at all...or maybe a little...?" Denny replied naughtily. "But we will do just fine," he added with a gleeful laugh.

Asking Trisha about the age gap matter got lost in their conversation. He did not remember he was going to ask her about anything as a few more crucial things seemed to pop out. He heard his phone ringing from the living room.

"Honey, I think my phone is ringing," Denny uttered after he figured out where the sound was coming from. He was about to excuse himself and stand, but Denny realized the girl in his hold
