Chapter 289. A Promise

“Oh, honey, you know I can never get enough of you. And in all honesty, I am a little afraid you will not have enough time for me after giving birth to our Deneah and Cielo,” Denny pouted. “I am beyond happy to have them in our lives, but I can’t help feeling… You know?”

Aleah found her husband behaving so cute. It made her smile wider. But as the thought of what he said seeped into her mind, she also understood what he was trying to say. She agreed he was right!

“I love it!” Aleah exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious. “Let’s make it a fun date night tradition.”

“Exactly!” Denny replied, sitting up and reaching for a notebook on the bedside table. “Let’s start brainstorming.”

They settled back against the pillows, the candlelight flickering around them as they began to jot down ideas. They laughed and reminisced about their favorite moments together, each suggestion bringing them closer.

“Camping under the stars!” Denny wrote down, his eyes lighting up.
