Chapter 135. Soul Magic

Caius’s POV

When I got to the hospital, Kalix, Owen, and Elise were all sitting on a couch, waiting for the Doctor to come in. Owen ran his fingers lightly up and down her arm as she gently stroked Kalix’s head, which was resting on her lap. I wanted to rip each of his dirty fingers off and then rip the other’s head off.

Elise saw how defeated I looked when she heard my growl. My eyes went back to being blue, and I moved slowly toward them. I didn’t have a reason to be envious. I could tell it was my wolf trying to mark her, but we had to wait. I had to believe her because if I didn’t, that day would never come.

Elise stood up and let me wrap my arms around her. She let me break her heart all over again. Everyone around us complained about her pain, from nurses to other patients.

“Honey, I’m really sorry. Do we know what went wrong?” I spoke softly because I was still trying to calm my wolf down because he was angry that she was with two other men.
