Chapter 158. What You Really Wanted
Once the women were out, Chris and I laid down next to each other, each holding a girl.
“Is this what you really wanted?” I turned my head to Chris and asked.
“Right now, that’s all we can get. If we spend too much time alone, the bond will make us do dumb things. This is how we’re still together.”
“I think this is stupid, but I can’t live without you. It makes me crazy.”
“I know.” Chris looked away, too embarrassed to look at me. He had to make me happy, but all he did was let me down.
I slid the girl off my arm and climbed on top of Chris.
“What’s going on?” He looked shocked when he saw me.
I put my hands on Chris’s head, pinning him down with my body. “I want you. I don’t like this setup, but if this is the only way for us to be together, I’ll deal with it for now. I’m not mad at you, I just want you, and it hurts that you won’t fight for us.”
