Serene’s POV

I have arrived at Ardin’s mansion here in the underground society. The security let me in as soon as they recognized me.

When I got inside, I immediately went straight to his room. Because that’s where he stays when he’s here.

I immediately opened the room. But I was very surprised when I reached him; he was very drunk. Beer bottles and junk food were scattered.

He was lying on the floor, and his hair was a mess. It’s also obvious that he doesn’t shave his beard because it’s already growing.

“Please get me hot water and a towel,” I ordered the assistant who was here. She accompanied me because she was also worried about her boss, who said that he did not come out of the room yesterday.

I immediately attended to Ardin. I held him in both arms to help him lie down on his bed. It’s really good, and it’s not too heavy.
