Serene’s POV

I’m here at the mansion where I hid Brianna. We are now sitting on the couch, drinking wine. I was holding a shot glass while looking at her, who was holding a bottle of Red Horse Gin. This woman really doesn’t like wine or whiskey.

“I don’t have a job anymore,” she started.

I didn’t speak and just listened.

“They said I was ruining the reputation of the Rivas. My bad manager said I was fired. It looks like that shortcoming has been paid for,” she added while drinking a beer.

She is getting drunk now. I caught up with her like this. The maids didn’t stop because this one was just naughty. So they just let her get drunk here.

I can see the sadness in her eyes. Maybe this time I can hear her reasons why she hates the family, especially Theo.
