Chapter 33

Serene’s POV

I woke up because I was nauseous. I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom to throw up. I washed and looked in the mirror. I also noticed that I’m a little skinny. I feel like I’m on a ship. I should be in the hospital. Wait, what’s going on? I quickly opened the window in the room, and my eyes widened at what I saw. I was in the middle of the sea on a huge ship. How did I get here?

Brother Liam. Where is he? Is he okay?

“The girl is missing,” someone shouted from outside the bathroom. I was hiding behind the door when someone opened it.

“She’s not in the bathroom either. The boss will kill us,” the man said angrily and left. My life seems to be in danger. I don’t have a good feeling about those people. I slowly peeked out. When I saw that they were gone, I went out. I quickly left the room; fortunately, they left the door open. I looked around and saw nothing.

I didn’t see any suspicious people, so I went out. I walked cautiously. T
