Chapter 146. I’ll Talk if You’ll Listen
“What? Are you sad now because you wish you had gone with me the first time I asked?” The woman told her. “You had asked me to give you some time, and I am a very patient person, so I gave you enough time. Have you made your decision?”
Fiona took a seat next to the woman on the lopsided bed without invitation. She sighed. Being in the Leopard Seal’s house had put her through things she did not even know she could go through. Her father was bad; yes, he was a terrible person, but there were times when she almost wished that she was anywhere else apart from the Leopard Seal’s house, even if it were her father’s house.
“Are you still thinking?” The woman prompted, and Fiona gave the room a sweeping look around. She had to leave. It was the one thing she had wanted the most over the past few weeks. She had given him the chance to tell her the truth; she had given him the chance over and over again, and he had thrown it in her face. She could not sacrifice everything for him
