Chapter 150. A Lonely Road
The Man in Black loved to listen to classical music. He played the piano sometimes. It did well to fill the silence. The silence that often seemed ever-present no matter where he went.
A lot of his dealings took him outside. Few people had seen his face in New York, and fewer people there knew his name.
He used to love playing chess with Dahlia when she was a much younger girl. She talked a lot when she played, promising wins after every game she lost. She could trash talk too. It always made him feel very happy listening to her. He would laugh out loud over and over.
