Chapter 197. Okay Then

Lo woke up in the infirmary. It looked like morning but there was a light shower outside the window so it wasn’t exactly a bright and sunny day. She lay on the soft pillow, the softest she’d felt in a while, and tried to remember how she had gotten there. Soon enough she remembered.

She had been in a fight with the three vengeful girls the other night. They had bruised her up quite badly. She felt pain in her side whenever she tried to move. There were also little aches on different parts of her body but otherwise she was fine. She felt somewhat sleepy and hoped that she would fall asleep but it never came. She stayed awake for at least an hour without ringing for a nurse.

At first she had waited restlessly for something to happen, irritated by the lack of activity after the routine of the camp. However she slowly sunk into the luxury of time that could be wasted.
