Pandora's POV

It has been another week since I regained consciousness and struggled to settle into my new life until I was able to remember something else.

So far, all that has come to mind, accompanied by a very terrible headache, was the name of a person called Derrick. I remembered nothing else.

Mrs. Edna and Ashley have been the most helpful, catering to me carefully. I took evening walks with Wilson whenever he was around. He had been the most proper gentleman that I remember.

“A penny for your thoughts?” Ashley asked, jolting me out of my thoughts.

“Oh, it's nothing. I am just trying to figure out what to occupy myself with before I regain my lost memories.” I answered promptly, knowing that if I hesitated, Ashley was going to figure me out.

She had proven to be incredibly smart in the last seven days. Wilson had also warned me to be careful so she would not have me figured out so fast.
