Chapter 13. Shooting Shots

Savannah’s POV

“Shots! Let’s do shots!”

Lexy squeals excitedly as she brings a tray of shots to our little table. She’s probably already doing some of those shots without us as she’s stumbling all over the place, almost dropping the tray of shots.

“Here’s to Savannah!” Juju says as he raises a glass. “Welcome to womanhood, my dear.”

“Cheers!” I chime as I pick up a shot glass and toast it with my friends. We all do the same movement in unison. First, we raise the glass, second, we smack it on the table, and third, we drink the whole thing all at once.

“Ahhh!” Juju lets out a burp as he downs the drink.

“Wow! That was strong!” Lexy shakes her head from side to side.

“Ugh!” I groan as the alcohol burns my throat. Drinking alcohol is still not my best suit. “What is that?”

“Tequila,” Lexy beams nonchalantly.
