Chapter 146. Foresight
Savannah’s POV
Logan hooks the belt tying my wrists over the bedpost so now I’m stuck there, lying on the bed with my hands above my head. I know better than to fight back, so I just wait patiently for this next phase of training. Meanwhile, Harlan goes into the closet, and moments later, he comes back with something that looks like a metal pole with two ankle holders.
“W-what’s that?” I stammer.
“Leg spreader,” he says coolly, like it’s just some tool people use every day.
He goes to the edge of the bed and he clasps my ankles on the two holders. The bar locks up with a whizzing sound, as if there’s a machine of some sort connected to it.
“If you fight back, the bar’s gonna spread wider,” he warns.
I’m not sure what he means by that, but this bar is uncomfortable. It’s spreading my legs apart forcefully, about two feet apart. I start to struggle, trying to bring my legs together, but the pole suddenly whizzes and expands, pushing my feet e
