Chapter 150. False Start
Savannah’s POV
One Week Later
The ocean sprawls before me, bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun. Harlan and Logan stand on either side of the beach, Harlan’s eyes are cold as ice as he stares me down, and Logan’s gaze is deep and fiery. They’re both are only in their pants as their sculpted upper bodies are on full display. Swallowing a little, I look down at my hand and I see the black cloth and it’s slowly blowing in the wind.
“Whenever you’re ready, princess,” Logan says.
Letting out a smirk, I put the blindfold over my eyes and tie them securely. Now before you get any funny ideas, we’re not doing anything crazy. We’re just training here.
Yes, training. It’s been a week since I started training with them, seeking to harness the strange power that had manifested within me. At first, my ability to read minds was sporadic and uncontrollable, like a radio tuned to a frequency I couldn’t quite grasp. But now, something has shifted.
