Chapter 147. Heat Rises

Savannah’s POV

I know my words struck a chord in both Logan and Harlan. They weren’t expecting it. Well, heck, I wasn’t expecting it either, but…

It feels right.

“Are you saying…” Logan trails, pausing for a beat before continuing, “What I think you’re saying?”

He steps closer, his face is hovering only inches away from me. His gaze is dark and intense.

“I…” I open my mouth to speak, but before I can say another word, Logan crashes his lips onto mine, taking me by surprise.

His kiss is hot and demanding. He grabs my face with both hands and keeps me in place. As he kisses me, his hands then move to my neck, teasingly weaving through my hair and stroking my face.

Meanwhile, Harlan is now taking his place behind me. Holding me by my shoulders, he starts trailing kisses on my ear and jaw.

“Sweet girl… let me hear you say it again,” he murmurs.

“Mhm, I want us three… to be… a family…” I say in between Logan’s kiss.
