Emma’s POV

I began to struggle, trying to get out of his arms, but he was too strong for me.

“Don’t try to struggle cause I won’t let you,” he said as he held me tightly.

I nodded my head gently, and he began to pull me toward the window.

Would he really take me away like this? Without anyone knowing and Brian? Brian would be so worried about my disappearance.

“Now listen to me. We will be getting out of here by going through the window, but before we do that, I want you to prepare something for Brian. We don’t want him getting worried, right?” he asked as he pulled his hand from my mouth.

“Michael, please! Don’t do this,” I begged gently.

“It’s too late for you to beg. Now let’s hurry and get out of here,” he said, pushing me into one of the chairs.
