Hazel looked skeptically at the transparent liquid between Ria’s fingers. Licking her lips, she quickly gulped the tangy liquid down her throat. Her eyes shut at the burn she felt at the back of her throat.

Ria watched as Hazel fidgeted with her fingers.

Claus had dismissed her to his chambers, and he would be here in a few minutes.

Tension gripped her. Fidgeting with her dress she waited precipitously with both fear and newfound ecstatically exhilarating arousal. However, she knew the fate of the night, her heart pounded loudly. He refused her requests. And now she was going to be punished. Claus had warned her numerous times to not cross him yet she defied him, again and again.

“I cannot,” her voice came out hoarse as she cleared her throat while Ria looked stunned at her. “I cannot do this, I need fresh air.”
