Chapter 66
Hazel’s POV
“Lady Hazel,” I jumped at the unknown voice, I had gotten so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t realize someone was standing at the door. Darting my eyes to the voice, I found a tall slender woman, wearing jewels that a normal worker wouldn’t wear, a silk navy blue dress that enhanced her lean curves. Chestnut hairs that opened in loose curls twisting down her small waist. Light blue eyes regarded me with a polite smile.
“Lady Camilla,” I regarded her, standing up to show her that she was welcomed. Nodding to herself she walked straight right in. Her confident strides as of a queen, bold and authoritative. Eyes flickering to every corner before they landed on doors that led to different rooms and it seemed like she was particularly looking for something—or someone. Blocking her view, I smiled.
“We couldn’t meet properly during the breakfast, so, I thought why not apologize on behalf of my husband and get to know each other?”
