Chapter 67
Hazel’s POV
It had been two hours since Camilla showed up. And two hours since my heart was palpitating to see Claus. I hadn’t seen him for more than twenty-four hours now. There was this hole widening in my chest every second passing. No. It wasn’t longing. But a dark desire to just see him. It was bond. It was the bond.
“You look beautiful, my lady.” One of the maids said. Ria was not here this time. In her place, two other maids were here to ready me for the banquet. Just like this morning, I had a choice in wearing the clothes I wanted. It was quite chilly as winter was approaching so I decided to wear a maroon velvet gown. The texture felt soft against my skin and the ornament of golden hues sparkled over it. I would’ve loved this look, but since my heart was restless, I couldn’t stop thinking about what Camilla said.
“Thank you,” I smiled at her as she helped me put my hair in a bun. I looked beautiful but it wasn’t enough for me
