"She was a witch!" this is the only thing which is ringing in my head 

What does he mean by that? A witch? But didn't he say that she was a fairy? 

"I didn't get you Xavier, what do you mean by she was a witch?" I asked him and he just laughed sarcastically 

"I didn't as well trust me. It was the day of my marriage with Vera. I was very happy. Yes I felt bad for my fated mate but I was positive that I don't have one because I didn't find her. This whole castle was decorated and in a few minutes I was about to be tied with her but then everything just changed in front of my eyes." Xavier said and it felt like he got lost in his thoughts.
