  As the morning sun crested over the horizon, I watched our pack begin mobilising for the impending battle. Wolves of all ages moved with grim determination, their usually melodic howls taking on a haunting tone as they prepared for warfare. 

  I made my way through the camp, my sharp gaze scanning the flurry of activity. Warriors were donning crude armour crafted from bone, leather, and wood - meagre protection but essential against the brutal force we would soon face.
