"Hand over the pack to me, and you will be spared the death that hangs over your heads," the crimson-furred alpha bellowed, his guttural vocals dripping with arrogance.
"Never," I vocalised in response, the metaphysical resonance of my spirit voice shaking the battlefield.
The defiler's beady gaze snapped towards me, nostrils flaring as sickening half-smirks twisted across his brutish features. "A Luna’s daughter foolishly posturing while her alpha male father whimpers away from his territory. How delightfully brash."
