The early morning light filtered through the grimy window of my motel room, casting a golden glow over the small space. I stretched, feeling the stiffness in my muscles from the cramped bed. Today was the day I would begin my mission, and I knew I needed to be alert and ready for whatever lay ahead.

After a quick shower and changing clothes, I headed into the city's bustling streets. The sounds and smells assaulted my senses, starkly contrasting the peace of the pack lands. I went to a nearby diner, the irresistible scent of bacon and coffee drawing me in.

I found a booth near the window and settled in, ordering a hearty breakfast to fuel me for the day ahead. As I ate, I took in the sights of the city waking up around me.
