“Is there something you need to say?” My father roared angrily my way causing Cora to tremble and lower her gaze to the ground. I wrapped the huge dressing gown around me that Aly appeared with. She quickly scuttled off without even looking at me. 

  They were afraid of my father. 

  He was nothing. 

  Who did he think that he was? 

  “What could I possibly need to say?” I bit back refusing to allow this piece of shit to make me submit. He had no power over me. I did not see him as my father any longer, he did not deserve any respect from me. 

  His eyes flashed and his warning growl told me that he was not impressed by my response to him. 

  I did not care. 

  He was not going to come back here and bark out orders to me like he had done nothing wrong.
