Chapter 7. The Servants of the Darkness

It was 4 a.m., and Lola was exhausted from spending the whole night babysitting the kids. They were sweet like little angels, yet they didn’t stop fighting and arguing! Lottie didn’t miss a chance to attack her brother, and Leo kept teasing his sister all along. It was funny watching them, yet hella tiring! At 4 a.m., it was time for the children to go to sleep and to meet Lord Edgar.

“But where can I find the study?” Lola asked. She had only met the children in the painting room but never went out nor met any servants.

“The Darkness Servants will show you the way,” answered Lottie in a sleepy voice.

“What are the Darkness Servants?”

“She is a human, Lottie. She can’t see them,” Leo replied. “Only vampires can see the creatures of the dark, Lola. And the vampire lords have power over them. They are the keepers and the servants of the house.”
