Chloe woke up to find Jo lying fast asleep next to her. She gently slid out of bed and tiptoed down to the kitchen. With a quiet determination, she dismissed the cooks so she could prepare breakfast herself for Jo when he woke up.

She decided to make a traditional Korean breakfast, kimchi jjigae, a hearty and flavorful stew made with fermented vegetables, tofu, and sometimes pork. Chloe knew it was one of Jo’s favorites. As she simmered the ingredients, the aroma filled the kitchen, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

“Mmmmm, this smells so good!” she murmured to herself, tasting the sauce-filled spoon. It was divine.

With the table set and the kimchi jjigae ready, she placed some juice and glasses on it. The table was nothing fancy, just plates and glasses to start the morning. She went back upstairs to wake Jo, eager for him to come and enjoy the meal she had prepared with love.
