Jeremy's nod deepened Diana's guilt.
"I'm sorry that I only have time to tell you this now. But, I'm very grateful that you came with the others to my farm," she said.
Jeremy was silent for a moment, before muttering, "It's a fun holiday. I'd be missing out if I didn't go."
Diana hissed. "Actually, I accidentally overheard your conversation with that girl."
Jeremy's eyes twitched for a moment. "Sophia?"
Diana smiled. "Yes. That's what made me change my mind. I felt guilty towards all of you and started to make amends. But ...."
Diana took a deep breath. "I'm too shy to face you. It's like you can read my whole heart."
"Frank can read that too."
