During dinner, Eva didn't make a sound at all. She ate gracefully, listening to the conversation while occasionally nodding.

Even when Vivian asked about Mrs. Connor's physiotherapy, she didn't interrupt. It seemed like she no longer needed the attention she had been looking for.
