Chapter 69

Hayden was stupid and a selfish bastard. She was tired of putting up with his stupidity, which was why she wished she hadn't found out about this now. She knew she wouldn’t be able to run from it; she was going to see it soon. She was so sure of that, but she would have wished she saw it some other time. This was going to ruin her mood, and she wasn’t going to be able to do anything to stop it. She didn't want that, but it was what was going to happen.

She wished she could stop it from happening, but she couldn’t do that. Jane knew herself more than she realized because she was going to keep thinking about this until she wouldn’t know when she was going to bring it up. And it might be in a place where she wasn’t going to be able to retrace her steps. She didn’t want that to happen, which was why she had to caution herself. She had to make sure that she didn’t let it get to her head.
