A week later,

My wound had healed up though not fully, the stitches were removed but were still neatly dressed in cotton wool and plaster while my therapist said I've climbed some stones on the state of my depression, I was improving impressively so I can start going out.

I was happy that I could get my feet back to school even though I tried to fight off the nervousness and anxiousness beginning to creep into me.

"Hey, you'll be fine," I heard Lucas say as he placed his hand on top of mine.

We were both in his car as he pulled into the school's park, I stared at the students clustering around in their usual groups.

I saw some set of girls in cheerleading uniform staring at Lucas's car as they giggled among themselves, though they can't see us in the car but we can.

"I hope so!" I breathed out entangling my hand in his as we both gazed into our eyes.

"I promise you, you'll be fine and besides I'm not leaving your side," He smiled.
