Chapter 25. A Few Tense Moments
Sighing, she looked at the wall of window glass panels where she could see the sky. Not a cloud to be seen. It was a clear crystal with a blue atmosphere that made her think about how her mind had pictured how crystal clear it was, with no memory of anything. She thought she should be content with being alive and married to a helpful and gorgeous man.
Making the best of it, Rafaella looked at him as he slowly brought her casted leg to the bathtub's rim. "All right, now what?"
"I'm fixing your leg in the bathtub so the water won't wet your injured knee. Rest your head in the bathtub rim so I can wash your hair."
After a while, she could hear the water flow from the faucet on her left. She slowly felt the warm water going up to her stomach.
