"I guess, part of my job," he chuckled. "It's great to run this for a while, although it's not a cup of my tea barking at their shortcomings. To update you, Marla filed for divorce." 

Alexus was speechless for a moment at the unexpected update.

"Why?" He asked as he managed to speak.

"She wanted me to back her up by returning to work here. She said she doesn't need the big lump sum of cash you gave her for running the business while you were recuperating."

"She can use it to fund her own business. She's good..."

"Then why didn't you retain her?"

"It's her ways of thinking I didn't like, conniving with Sandy and turning my secretary and admin to spy on me. So, I decided to clean up the termites here before I could continue running the business. How's Martin?"
