Alaric’s POV
I didn’t go straight to work that morning.
I had a goal, and I was going to make sure that I saw it through. I didn’t go to meet my brother yesterday because I was too busy thinking about my wife and wondering what her next move was going to be.
Fuck, she was infuriating me. Nearly caused me to go insane from her stubbornness. And not to think of the fact that she had begun to blame herself for my father’s death when she knew damn well that it wasn’t her fault.
Meadow was a victim, and she kept treating herself like she was the offender.
If she hadn’t agreed to go with Trip, I wouldn’t have let her stubborn ass leave the house. Hell, I would’ve gone with her to meet her sister, which was something she would not have liked.
