Chapter 26. Tension

Upon hearing those words, everyone’s gaze moved behind me. All of them were curious to know who spoke.

But I don’t need to.

Even just by hearing his voice, I already know who it was. The person who defended me from Hans.

Frowning, Hans looked at him.

He still wore that sweet smile on his lips, but I could see the annoyance and irritation in his eyes.

Hans just couldn’t do anything about it because everyone was watching, and like me, he had a reputation to take care of.

“I don’t understand what you’re saying,” Hans asked, tilting his head as his smile widened, yet his eyes looked intimidating. “I’m not even saying anything.”
