Vampire's Love - 10. Camping

Katarina's POV

After Alexander approved the idea of going out, everyone was excited about it. Even me. I am stepping out of the palace without any intention of escaping. I myself surprised by my behavior.

“Let me carry that for you,” David said, bolting up to me and grabbing a bag packed with food. His light platinum hair shone brightly in the sunlight.

“David, I'm fine. It's just a bag." I mumbled, snatching it away from him.

“You're extra nice to her today. Trying to make up for last night?" Franklin snickered as he ran his hand on his black hair. David scratched the back of his hair nervously as the events of last night flashed through my mind. I distanced myself.

“The jeep is here, get in!" Joey shouted excitingly. Everyone took a seat, and David sat next to me, which made me feel very uncomfortable and slightly annoyed.

I glanced out of the window and noticed another Jeep driving next to us, side by side. It wasn't long befor
