Vampire's Love - 12. Alexander's Threat

Katarina's POV

David hesitated for a while, probably contemplating what to say.

"Ok. Ask me." He said shortly and I smiled a little. He's friendly and quite trustworthy, excluding that night.

"It's about Alexander, why do people fear him?" I asked him. He chuckled softly before reaching into his pockets to pick something from them.

It's a small glass bottle with red liquid. I gag as I thought it was human blood.

"It's goat's blood. When my urge gets out of control, I drink this. I fed on it." David replied as if he heard what I thought.

"Then about your question. He's not as dangerous or ruthless as people presume him to be," he responded, I stared at him in surprise. "But that's the kind of image he prefers to have. He wants people to get scared of him so that they won't get near him." David said while rolling up his sleeves.

"Right, okay." I mumbled, rubbing my hands together nervously. "Did Alexander kill anyone before?"
