I coughed for the nth time and let out a groan before tossing off the sheets, my eyes looking around for Ana but she was nowhere to be seen now. With a painful headache, I sat up straight to grab the water bottle. But I couldn't reach it. I grumbled. Then someone switched on the lights and I sighed in relief, expecting it to be Ana but my eyes widened when I saw Alex leaning against the door.

"I told you."

"Don't, I'm fine. Just need to drink water and sleep." I grumbled impatiently and reached out to grab the water bottle from the table again.

"You're not fine. I could hear you coughing-"

"I'm sorry I ruined your sleep. I already took my medicine, I'll be fine, thanks." I cut him off and stopped reaching out for the table when Alex appeared in front of me, taking the water bottle and gave it over to me.
