Book 3: Chapter 53

The palace was bustling with activity once more and this time, Naomi was not ignored during the preparation as Aliyah took her along with her, trying to get her opinion in a lot of things.

To the outside world, they were throwing a party for the blood moon night and the newly mated wolves and vampires but to them, especially Aliyah, the party was for her son who has finally found his mate. Everyone could see the joy in her face as she walked around giving orders on how things should be.

Edward would occasionally show up from nowhere and remind her of the little one in her womb but she would always push him away with “allow me to have fun.”

It went on till Edward came to Asher with a warning look, “if anything happens to your mother, I will hold you responsible and I should probably tell you now that I won’t let you off. Maybe I would when you have a limb in a crocodile’s mouth, but not before.”

“Dad, don’t you think you are being a little unfair right now?”
