Book 3: Epilogue
‘Run with me,’ Asher said in the mind-link to Naomi and led the way while she followed, enjoying how her paws felt on the hard ground. Everyone watched them leave, but no one said anything. The High Elders would finish off what else needed to be done, and that was to find a pack for Thomas and Mercy.
Naomi marveled at the sensation her new body brought. She could smell the rabbits before she saw them as well as every other animal. She could feel the vibration on the ground with her paw, letting her know where anything was, as long as it was alive.
Asher was right in front of her and even if she closed her eyes, she could still tell where exactly he was. Apart from feeling the vibration his paws left on the ground, there was the tantalizing scent about him that kept leading her to him.
They ran through the woods—black and white—running in such speed that the wind was behind them. Eventually, they landed in a meadow, or rather, Asher landed on Naomi and they tumbled
