Hailey shut her computer and arranged the table. After doing that, she carried her bag and stood up from the chair. She was already done with the day's work.
Charles came out of the office and walked past her without exchanging words with her.
Somehow, she felt hurt by his actions. She shook the thought off and walked to the elevator.
"I don't have to bother about him," she mumbled to herself.
Before she could get to the elevator, Charles had already entered and the door had already closed so she had no other choice but to wait and take another one.

Charles came out of the company and met Jace waiting for him beside his(Charles) car.
He walked to him.
"Why are you here? Why didn't you come inside?" He asked.
"I knew you were gonna be out soon," Jace said.
"Are you less busy now?" He asked.
